SALA Sting Tryouts

Registration for SALA Sting A is Now Open! 

Get ready for an exciting experience! Registration for the SALA Sting A tryouts is now live. 

• Purpose: To identify players best suited for their age group’s A team based on athleticism, stick skills, lacrosse IQ, sportsmanship, and positional play.
• Dates: March 29 (Medicine Hat) and April 6 (Duchess)
• Who: For players in U13, U15, and U17 divisions
• Cost: $50.00
• Tryout Structure:
  • This will not be a camp-style floor time. It is a performance-based evaluation process.
  • Cuts may be made at various stages, including after the first day.
  • Evaluations and cuts will be conducted by independent evaluators unaffiliated with the SALA Sting.

Tryout Schedule:

• First Tryout
• When: Saturday, March 29
• Where: Medicine Hat - Moose Rec Centre
• Schedule: 
  • U13 - 10:00AM-11:00AM
  • U15 - 11:00AM-12:00PM
  • U17 - 12:00PM-1:00PM   
• Second Tryout
  • When: Sunday, April 6
  • Where: Duchess Rec Centre
  • Schedule:
    • U13 - 11:00AM-12:00PM
    • U15 - 12:00PM-1:30PM
    • U17 - 2:00PM-3:30PM
